Zombie Shed VR

A project made in Unity for VR during

a Global Game Jam in Unity Montreal.

The idea of the game is that you are locked in a cabin while zombies outside attempt to break in.

They will break wood planks around the walls that will fall and be able to be picked by the player.

The player then, has to fix the planks before too many of them have been broken and the zombies get inside.

 

In an arcade style, the user scores points as they fix the planks, with the zombies getting faster as time goes on, for as long as they can resist.

Creation

This project was created with 3 other people in the course of 3 days.

Although I had played VR games before, It was the first time I had tried creating one. It took a while to understand how the programming of the motion controls worked and there were a lot of bugs to be fixed and workarounds to be learned.

It was a lot of fun to work with the teammates and see the parts coming to life in VR at the end of the game jam.
